Using firefly luciferase to catalyze the conversion of the substrate luciferin, the energy of ATP is efficiently used to emit photons. The bioluminescence detection of ATP is performed on the principle that the luminescent signal is proportional to the amount of ATP present. This product can be used for rapid and quantitative determination of ATP (adenosine 5'-triphosphate) levels in liquid samples or in cells or tissues. The lysis buffer in the product can effectively lyse bacteria, cells and microbial samples and fully release ATP, which is suitable for ATP detection of various sample sources.
Luciferase/luciferin substrate adopts an optimized enzymatic reaction system, and the generated fluorescence remains stable within one minute. The product has a detection sensitivity of 10-16 mol and a detection range of 10-11 to 10-16 mol, which can be used for trace ATP detection.
•Convenient: Reagents are easy to prepare
•The fluorescence produced by the detection reagent is highly stable and does not require rapid mixing
•Fast: Sample lysis is completed within 5-10 minutes, and the diluted Luciferase/Luciferin Reagent Substrate can be added for detection.
•Sensitive: Detects as little as 10-16mol ATP
•Scope of application: It can be used to detect ATP of bacteria, cells and microorganisms in samples from various sources, and to detect trace ATP
•Product storage: Store at -20 °C in the dark before opening the package, and store it according to the storage conditions of the individual components on the product manual after opening the package. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing and ATP contamination
